For several years, the Library’s book and journal collections have been a part of the University of Rochester’s Voyager online catalog. We’re pleased to announce that as of this month, we have begun tracking the books in the catalog. What does this mean? It means when you are looking for a book from Highland’s library, the book’s status (e.g., on the shelf, checked-out, missing) will appear – so you can know if the book is actually in the Library before you come down to borrow it. This is an exciting change for us and will save time for us and our patrons.
While we’re on the topic of books, here’s a review of our current borrowing policies: our circulating books, including the Consumer Health and Nursing collections, may be borrowed for 1 month with up to 2 renewals. Reference books may be borrowed by request only.
If you have any questions, or would like to renew library items please contact us by phone, e-mail, the Ask-a Librarian web form, or in person. Ask us, we’re happy to help you with your information needs!
